The Harbor Beach Pirates (Harbor Beach, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Marlette Red Raiders (Marlette, MI), 39-34 in Thursday's league test.
The Pirates (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Laker (Pigeon, MI). The Lakers go into the non-league test with a 2-21 record. In their last test, Laker was tipped by Cass City (Cass City, MI), 47-31, in a league test.
The Red Raiders now own a 15-6 record. They play next when they travel to Peck for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 1.
