The Lake Nona Lions baseball team (Orlando, FL), was overwhelmed 12-7 in Thursday's non-league outing with the visiting Winter Park Wildcats (Winter Park, FL)
The Wildcats now hold a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edgewater for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 28. Winter Park will confront a Eagles team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Master's Academy (Oviedo, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
Next, the Lions confront the Cypress Creek Bears (Orlando, FL) in a non-league outing, on Friday, February 24. Lake Nona will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Bears go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Osceola (Kissimmee, FL).
