The Waccamaw Warriors the visiting Carolina Forest Panthers lacrosse team by a score of 9-7 in Thursday's non-league match.

With the win, Waccamaw upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Warriors host St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC) to play the Sharks in a 5A District 5 match on Monday, February 27. The Sharks go into the match with a record of 2-0. St. James won 12-9 in their recent non-league match against North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC)

With the defeat, Carolina Forest drops to 1-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC) to play the Iron Horses in a non-league match on Friday, February 24. The Iron Horses go into the match with a record of 1-0. Philip Simmons won 13-5 in their recent non-league match against James Island (Charleston, SC)
