Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Leopards confront the Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 3. Banks County will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record.
The Indians now possess a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Franklin County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 28. Towns County will confront a Lions team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Elbert County (Elberton, GA). The Lions record now stands at 4-2.
