Lake Gibson Braves (Lakeland, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Tenoroc Titans (Lakeland, FL), 15-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Braves now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Haines City for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 28. Lake Gibson will face a Hornets squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Fort Meade (Fort Meade, FL). The Hornets record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Tenoroc falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Titans host Davenport (Davenport, FL) to face the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. The Broncos enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
