Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC) and the visiting SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars (Pinetops, NC), saw Ayden - Grifton's basketball squad wallop SouthWest Edgecombe by a tally of 48-27.

With the victory, Ayden - Grifton improves its record to 13-12 on the campaign.
