The Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Bartlett Golden Bears to 37 in the Thunderbirds league victory on Friday.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 21-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dimond for a 4A Cook Inlet contest on Tuesday, February 27. Bettye Davis East Anchorage will battle a Lynx team coming off a 64-57 league win over West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Lynx record now stands at 14-8.
The Golden Bears (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against Wasilla (Wasilla, AK). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Wasilla dropped by West Valley (Fairbanks, AK), 57-51, in a non-league contest.
