Buckeye Panthers (Buckeye, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA), 66-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Buckeye upgrades its record to 28-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 27. The Hawks enter the game with a record of 21-8. Archbishop Hannan won 66-62 in their recent league game against Salmen (Slidell, LA)

With the defeat, Teurlings Catholic moves to 15-19 on the year.
