Alaska High School Basketball - Chugiak knocked off by Service

The Service Cougars basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Chugiak Mustangs to 44 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eagle River for a 4A Cook Inlet contest on Tuesday, February 27. Service will battle a Wolves team coming off a 55-53 league win over South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Wolves record now stands at 4-17.
The Mustangs (4-16) will now prepare for their contest against South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Wolverines enter the 4A Cook Inlet contest with a 9-14 record. In their last contest, South Anchorage was defeated by Eagle River (Eagle River, AK), 55-53, in a league contest.
