In Friday's non-league match, the host Rice Memorial Green Knights basketball team scored a decisive 82-47 triumph over the Colchester Lakers.
In their next game, the Green Knights meet the Rutland Raiders (Rutland, VT) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 26. Rice Memorial will attempt to move on its 19-2 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 17-5 record after their 58-44 non-league win over Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT).
With the defeat, Colchester moves to 10-12 on the year.
