Concord Pirates (Concord, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host West Side Eagles (Greers Ferry, AR), 70-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Concord upgrades its record to 27-8 on the season. The Pirates host Marked Tree (Marked Tree, AR) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 24. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 30-4. Marked Tree won 67-42 in their recent non-league bout against Rural Special (Fox, AR)

Next up, the Eagles play the Rural Special Rebels (Fox, AR) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 24. West Side will attempt to upgrade on its 20-12 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 15-19 record after their 67-42 non-league loss to Marked Tree (Marked Tree, AR).
