The John Marshall Rockets basketball team (Rochester, MN), was nudged 72-70 in Friday's league battle with the host Mayo Spartans (Rochester, MN)
The Spartans now sport a 11-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Park Center for a non-league battle on Monday, February 26. Mayo will battle a Pirates team coming off a 96-57 non-league win over Anoka (Anoka, MN). The Pirates record now stands at 20-4.
The Rockets (13-10) will now prepare for their battle against Mankato West (Mankato, MN). The Scarlets come into the non-league battle with a 18-7 record. In their last battle, Mankato West was nudged by Century (Rochester, MN), 76-64, in a non-league battle.
