The Litchfield Dragons basketball team (Litchfield, MN), was nudged 62-61 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Watertown-Mayer Royals (Watertown, MN)
The Royals now possess a 13-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glencoe-Silver Lake for a non-league battle on Monday, February 26. Watertown-Mayer will battle a Panthers team coming off a 79-74 non-league loss to Dassel-Cokato (Cokato, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 16-11.
The Dragons (7-20) will now prepare for their battle against New London-Spicer (New London, MN). The Wildcats come into the AA Section 3 battle with a 15-12 record. In their last battle, New London-Spicer was nudged by Rockford (Rockford, MN), 66-59, in a non-league battle.
