Sargent County Bulldogs (Milnor, ND) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN), 56-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sargent County upgrades its record to 18-5 on the season. The Bulldogs host Wyndmere/Lidgerwood (Wyndmere, ND) to clash with the Warbirds in a B District 1 bout on Monday, February 26. The Warbirds go into the bout with a record of 7-12. Wyndmere/Lidgerwood won 67-64 in their recent league bout against Oakes (Oakes, ND)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Oakes Tornadoes (Oakes, ND) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 26. Maple River will attempt to upgrade on its 21-25 season record. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a 11-10 record after their 67-64 league loss to Wyndmere/Lidgerwood (Wyndmere, ND).
