Rockford Rockets (Rockford, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting New London-Spicer Wildcats (New London, MN), 66-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rockford upgrades its record to 13-16 on the season. The Rockets travel to Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted (Howard Lake, MN) to play the Lakers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 29. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 16-9. Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted lost 87-54 in their recent non-league bout against Annandale (Annandale, MN)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Litchfield Dragons (Litchfield, MN) in a AA Section 3 bout, on Monday, February 26. New London-Spicer will attempt to upgrade on its 15-12 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 7-20 record after their 62-61 non-league loss to Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN).
