Minnesota High School Basketball - Rush City topped by Pine City

The Pine City Dragons basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Rush City Tigers to 54 in the Dragons league victory on Friday.
The Dragons now sport a 6-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Francis for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 29. Pine City will battle a Fighting Saints team coming off a 94-86 league loss to Princeton (Princeton, MN). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 10-15.
The Tigers (5-22) will now prepare for their contest against Barnum (Barnum, MN). The Bombers come into the non-league contest with a 19-7 record. In their last contest, Barnum prevailed over Cook County (Grand Marais, MN), 77-36, in a non-league contest.
