In Friday's non-league outing, the Southridge Skyhawks (Beaverton, OR) basketball squad edged the visiting Sunset Apollos (Portland, OR), by a count of 63-58.
The Skyhawks (22-3) will now prepare for their outing against McNary (Keizer, OR). The Celtics go into the non-league outing with a 14-10 record. In their last outing, McNary held off South Salem (Salem, OR), 67-52, in a non-league outing.
The Apollos now hold a 10-14 record. They play next when they travel to Tualatin for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 27. Sunset will clash with a Timberwolves squad coming off a 81-56 league win over Tigard (Tigard, OR). The Timberwolves record now stands at 18-6.
