Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host St. Michael-Albertville Knights (Albertville, MN), 68-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wayzata upgrades its record to 24-1 on the season. The Trojans host Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN) to clash with the Skippers in a non-league bout on Friday, March 1. The Skippers go into the bout with a record of 19-5.

Next up, the Knights clash with the Champlin Park Rebels (Champlin, MN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 28. St. Michael-Albertville will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 14-11 record after their 83-77 non-league win over Coon Rapids (Coon Rapids, MN).
