The Sturgis Trojans (Sturgis, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Three Rivers Wildcats (Three Rivers, MI), 61-58 in Friday's league test.

The Trojans (4-17) will now prepare for their test against Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI). The Beavers go into the non-league test with a 10-12 record. In their last test, Harper Creek got by Western (Parma, MI), 47-45, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 3-19 record. They play next when they travel to Tournament Team for a non-league test on Monday, February 26. Three Rivers will encounter a squad coming off a 85-81 non-league loss to Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA). The record now stands at 4-22.
