Hillsdale Academy Colts (Hillsdale, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Waldron Spartans (Waldron, MI), 36-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hillsdale Academy upgrades its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Hillsdale (Hillsdale, MI) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 27. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 6-13. Hillsdale lost 49-38 in their recent league bout against Clinton (Clinton, MI)

Next up, the Spartans play the Sand Creek Aggies (Sand Creek, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 27. Waldron will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Aggies come into the bout with a 1-19 record after their 55-19 league loss to Whiteford (Ottawa Lake, MI).
