The South Christian Sailors basketball team (Grand Rapids, MI), was nudged 44-43 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Kenowa Hills Knights (Grand Rapids, MI)
The Knights now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jenison for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 27. Kenowa Hills will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 67-26 league loss to Rockford (Rockford, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-15.
The Sailors (11-9) will now prepare for their battle against Hamilton (Hamilton, MI). The Hawkeyes come into the non-league battle with a 9-11 record. In their last battle, Hamilton edged Fruitport (Fruitport, MI), 53-23, in a league battle.
