Oregon High School Basketball - Philomath thwarts Marist

The Philomath Warriors (Philomath, OR) basketball knocked off the visiting Marist Spartans (Eugene, OR), 39-24 in Friday's non-league test.
The Warriors (19-5) will now prepare for their test against Baker (Baker City, OR). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 12-13 record. In their last test, Baker notched a victory over Phoenix (Phoenix, OR), 53-44, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to La Grande for a non-league test on Saturday, March 2. Marist will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 54-51 league win over Pendleton (Pendleton, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 16-8.
