With the victory, Pecos improves its record to 20-6 on the campaign.

Next up, the Wolverines play the Santa Rosa Lions (Santa Rosa, NM) in a 2A District 6 challenge, on Monday, February 26. Texico will attempt to improve on its 10-14 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 2-22 record after their 67-38 league loss to Clayton (Clayton, NM).
