California Condors (Whittier, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the host El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), 9-8 in a non-league test.
The Condors now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Segerstrom for a non-league test on Monday, February 26. California will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 18-5 non-league win over El Modena (Orange, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-2.
In their next game, the Vanguards face the Centennial Huskies (Corona, CA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 27. El Modena will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Huskies come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 18-1 non-league loss to Poly (Riverside, CA).
