In Friday's non-league test, the host West Ashley Wildcats lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-6 victory over the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs.
The Wildcats now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host St. James for a 5A Lower District 5 test on Monday, February 26. West Ashley will face a Sharks squad coming off a 17-8 non-league win over North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC). The Sharks record now stands at 1-0.
In their next game, the Chiefs face the Socastee Braves (Myrtle Beach, SC) in a non-league test, on Monday, February 26. North Myrtle Beach will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Braves come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC).
