Georgia High School Lacrosse - Islands drops to Effingham County

February 23, 2024: Savannah, GA 31410

In Friday's non-league test, the visiting Effingham County Rebels lacrosse squad scored a good 17-2 victory over the Islands Sharks.

The Rebels now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Evans for a 5A-6A Area 7 test on Wednesday, February 28. Effingham County will face a Knights squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Lakeside (Evans, GA). The Knights record now stands at 2-2.

In their next game, the Sharks face the Calvary Day Cavaliers (Savannah, GA) in a 1A-4A Area 8 test, on Monday, February 26. Islands will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Cavaliers come into the test with a 1-3 record after their 11-3 non-league win over Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA).
