Heritage Academy Heroes (Laveen, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Carl Hayden Community Falcons (Phoenix, AZ), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Heroes now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arizona Lutheran Academy for a 2A West challenge on Thursday, February 29. Heritage Academy will battle a Coyotes squad coming off a 13-9 non-league loss to Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Carl Hayden Community falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to West Point (Avondale, AZ) to battle the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 26. The Dragons enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. West Point won 7-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Safford (Safford, AZ)
