The Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) softball routed the host Poplarville Hornets (Poplarville, MS), 7-2 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Hawks (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS). The Fighting Irish go into the non-league bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, St. Patrick was routed by D'Iberville (D'Iberville, MS), 12-2, in a non-league bout.
