Ridgeland Titans (Ridgeland, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS), 19-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Titans now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richland for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 24. Ridgeland will battle a Rangers squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Pisgah (Sandhill, MS). The Rangers record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Leake Central falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Gators host Noxapater (Noxapater, MS) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Noxapater won 18-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Louisville (Louisville, MS)
