In Friday's non-league outing, the host Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets softball team scored a nice 16-1 win over the Varnado Wildcats.
Coming up next, the Yellowjackets battle the Independence Tigers (Independence, LA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, February 27. Mt. Hermon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 0-3 record after their 26-2 non-league loss to West St. John (Edgard, LA).
The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against McGehee (New Orleans, LA). The Hawks enter the 1A District 10 outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, McGehee ran past St. Mary's Academy (New Orleans, LA), 19-6, in a non-league outing.
