Salt County Knights (Alexander, AR) followers exited the stadium satisfied Sunday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the host Fayetteville Bulldogs (Fayetteville, AR), 9-6 in a league game.

With the victory, Salt County advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Byrd (Shreveport, LA) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league game on Sunday, March 2. The Yellow Jackets come into the game with a record of 1-0. Byrd won 16-2 in their recent non-league game against Benton (Benton, LA)

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springdale for a game on Tuesday, February 25.
