The Heritage Patriots held off the host Poly Bears lacrosse team by a tally of 7-6 in Monday's league match.
Next up, the Patriots confront the Norco Cougars (Norco, CA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 24. Heritage will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.
The Bears (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty (Winchester, CA). The Bison go into the Ivy challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Liberty was nipped by Paloma Valley (Menifee, CA), 16-3, in a league challenge.
