California High School Baseball - San Clemente nips Santa Fe

San Clemente Tritons (San Clemente, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Santa Fe Chiefs (Santa Fe Springs, CA), 6-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, San Clemente upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Tritons host Millikan (Long Beach, CA) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Saturday, February 26. The Rams come into the test with a record of 4-2. Millikan won 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Canyon (Anaheim, CA)

With the defeat, Santa Fe falls to 1-4 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA) to battle the Bruins in a non-league test on Saturday, February 26. The Bruins come into the test with a record of 4-2. Woodrow Wilson lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Ocean View (Huntington Beach, CA)
