Minnesota High School Basketball - Apollo can't hold off Sauk Rapids-Rice

The Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Apollo Eagles to 60 in the Storm league victory on Thursday.
The Storm now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rocori for a AAA Section 8 contest on Tuesday, March 1. Sauk Rapids-Rice will battle a Spartans team coming off a 55-54 league win over Willmar (Willmar, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 8-15.
The Eagles (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Alexandria (Alexandria, MN). The Cardinals come into the AAA Section 8 contest with a 17-3 record. In their last contest, Alexandria edged Sartell-St. Stephen (Sartell, MN), 62-55, in a league contest.
