Next, the Syrupmakers confront the Monroe Golden Tornadoes (Albany, GA) in a AAAA Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, March 1. Cairo will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Golden Tornadoes enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 4-0 league loss to Westover (Albany, GA).

The Bearcats now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Thomas County Central for a AAAA Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 1. Bainbridge will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 10-0 league win over Dougherty (Albany, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 4-3.
