California High School Softball - Animo Leadership can't get by Hawthorne Math & Science Academy

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Hawthorne Math & Science Academy The Aviators (Hawthorne, CA) softball team held off the visiting Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles (Inglewood, CA), by a margin of 13-12.

With the triumph, Hawthorne Math & Science Academy advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The The Aviators host Lawndale (Lawndale, CA) to meet the Cardinals in a non-league match on Monday, February 28. The Cardinals go into the match with a record of 1-1. Lawndale lost 24-0 in their recent non-league match against Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA)

With the loss, Animo Leadership moves to 0-1 on the season. The Aztec eagles host St. Mary's Academy (Inglewood, CA) to meet the Belles in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 1. The Belles go into the match with a record of 0-3. St. Mary's Academy lost 25-0 in their recent non-league match against Bishop Conaty-Loretto (Los Angeles, CA)
