Ezekiel Academy Knights (Montgomery, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Crenshaw Christian Academy Cougars (Luverne, AL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Knights now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Meadowview Christian for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 24.
With the loss, Crenshaw Christian Academy falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Lakeside School (Eufaula, AL) to battle the Chiefs in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 25. The Chiefs enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Lakeside School won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Wiregrass (Dothan, AL)
