The Brantley County Herons got by the host Long County Blue Tide baseball team by a count of 4-3 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Herons now possess a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ridgeland for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 25. Brantley County will face a Panthers team coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
Next, the Blue Tide face the Bacon County Raiders (Alma, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 27. Long County will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Atkinson County (Pearson, GA).
