Messmer Bishops (Milwaukee, WI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Augustine Prep Lions (Milwaukee, WI), 80-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Messmer upgrades its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Bishops travel to University School of Milwaukee (Milwaukee, WI) to play the Wildcats in a Midwest Classic bout on Saturday, February 25. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 8-15. University School of Milwaukee won 72-61 in their recent non-league bout against University Lake/Trinity Academy (Hartland, WI)
