The Saranac Chiefs basketball team scored 80 points and restricted the visiting AuSable Valley Patriots to 56 in the Chiefs non-league victory on Friday.

The Chiefs now sport a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plattsburgh for a non-league match on Monday, February 27. Saranac will meet a Hornets team coming off a 82-40 non-league win over Peru (Peru, NY). The Hornets record now stands at 8-12.

With the defeat, AuSable Valley moves to 8-10 on the year.
