Maranatha Christian Academy Mustangs (Brooklyn Park, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Concordia Academy Beacons (Roseville, MN), 96-71 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Maranatha Christian Academy upgrades its record to 20-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Blake (Minneapolis, MN) to play the Bears in a AA Section 5 bout on Saturday, March 4. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 14-8.

Next up, the Beacons play the Mounds Park Academy Panthers (St. Paul, MN) in a AA Section 4 bout, on Friday, March 3. Concordia Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record.
