The Lyle/Pacelli Athletics (Lyle, MN) basketball felled the host Southland Rebels (Adams, MN), 52-41 in Friday's league test.
The Athletics (21-4) will now prepare for their test against Spring Grove (Spring Grove, MN). The Lions go into the A Section 1 test with a 22-1 record. In their last test, Spring Grove thwarted Houston (Houston, MN), 77-36, in a league test.
The Rebels now own a 12-10 record. They play next when they travel to Glenville-Emmons for a A Section 1 test on Saturday, February 25. Southland will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 71-55 league win over Grand Meadow (Grand Meadow, MN). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-18.
