Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ) and the host Holy Cross Lancers (Delran, NJ), saw Holy Spirit's basketball squad hold off Holy Cross by a count of 67-60.

With the victory, Holy Spirit upgrades its record to 19-8 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Wildwood Catholic (North Wildwood, NJ) to play the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 27. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 22-5. Wildwood Catholic won 41-34 in their recent non-league test against Gloucester Catholic (Gloucester City, NJ)

The Lancers now own a 19-10 record.
