Texas City Stingarees (Texas City, TX) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Stingarees face the Friendswood Mustangs (Friendswood, TX) in a challenge, on Friday, March 3. Texas City will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record.

The Tornadoes now have a 0-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Manvel for a challenge on Tuesday, February 28. Ball will face a Mavericks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 3-0.
