In Friday's league battle, the visiting Atkinson County Rebels soccer squad scored a good 8-0 triumph over the Echols County Wildcats.
The Rebels (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Bulldogs come into the 1A D-II Region 2 battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Lanier County was overwhelmed by McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA). The Buccaneers come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, McIntosh County Academy thwarted Lanier County (Lakeland, GA), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
