Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Metter Tigers (Metter, GA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Redskins face the Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, February 28. Bryan County will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Gamecocks enter the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 5-0 league win over Claxton (Claxton, GA).

The Tigers now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Claxton for a 1A D-I Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. Metter will face a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 league win over Woodville-Tompkins (Savannah, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-5.
