The crowd at Friday's league test between the Lakeside Panthers (Evans, GA) and the host Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA), saw Lakeside's soccer squad triumph over Effingham County by a margin of 7-0.

The Panthers now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Grovetown for a 6A Region 2 test on Tuesday, February 28. Lakeside will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 8-0 league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Effingham County drops to 2-4 on the season. The Rebels host South Effingham (Guyton, GA) to meet the Mustangs in a 6A Region 2 test on Tuesday, February 28. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 1-3. South Effingham 2-2 in their recent league test against Evans (Evans, GA)
