The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, February 28. The Colony will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 8-0 league loss to Reedy (Frisco, TX).

The Mustangs now have a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frisco for a 5A Region 2 District 9 challenge on Tuesday, February 28. Creekview will confront a Raccoons team coming off a 6-0 league win over Turner (Carrollton, TX). The Raccoons record now stands at 14-1.
