In Friday's league battle, the host La Vernia Bears soccer squad scored a close 5-0 triumph over the Fox Tech Buffaloes.
The Bears (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Young Women's Leadership Academy (San Antonio, TX). The Cardinals come into the 4A Region 4 District 27 battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, Young Women's Leadership Academy nudged Yoakum (Yoakum, TX), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Buffaloes (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against San Antonio Memorial (San Antonio, TX). The Minutemen come into the 4A Region 4 District 27 battle with a 1-15 record.
