In Friday's league battle, the visiting West Mesquite Wranglers soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Seagoville Dragons.
The Wranglers (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Samuell (Dallas, TX). The Spartans come into the 5A Region 2 District 12 battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Samuell was nudged by Poteet (Mesquite, TX), 8-0, in a league battle.
The Dragons (0-10) will now prepare for their battle against Poteet (Mesquite, TX). The Pirates come into the 5A Region 2 District 12 battle with a 13-4 record.
